She was predeceased by: her parents, Prentiss Fore, Sr. and Bessie Jenkins Fore; her brothers, James Fore, Prentiss Fore, Jr. and Willie Lee Fore; and her grandchildren, Tracy Connell Smith and Douglas Deon Watson.

She is survived by: her children, Clara Ward (Jerry), Douglas Smith (Jeanette), James Terry Smith and Benjamin Fore (Gwendolyn); her sisters, Mabel Fore and Rosa Lee Fore; her sister-in-law Ethel Campbell; and her grandchildren, Adrian Smith (Melanie), Jada Smith, Sheena McClam, Jada Wooten, Brandon Andrews and Valentina Daniels.

Viewing was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Nickelson-Cummings Funeral Home (4304 Victoria Blvd, Hampton, VA 23669). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
