He was predeceased by: his parents, Chapman J Rodenhizer Sr. and Mary Pridgen Rodenhizer; and his close friend Rudy Luethy. He is survived by: his son David Chapman Rodenhizer (Gayle); his grandson Erik; his son Jeffrey Smith Rodenhizer; his grandchildren, Noah and Amelia; his daughter Tammy O'Hare of Raleigh, NC.; his sister Laura R Coleman of Richmond, VA.; his nieces, Cindy Coleman of Powhatan, VA and Mary Ellen Powelson (Jay); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Avery and Devin of Colonial Heights, VA; his niece Tracy Wyman (Paul); his great-niece Hannah of Moseley, VA.; his sister-in-law Sarah Zieman of Grafton, VA; his caregivers, Donya Green, Hudson Davis, Belinda Powell, Rachel Carney and Krystal Taylor; and also Shirley Ann Rodenhizer of Newport News.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Amory Funeral Home (410 Grafton Dr, Yorktown, VA 23692).
