It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Chandra Austin-Wylie of Newport News, Virginia, born in Staten Island, New York, who passed away on March 4, 2024, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her parents, Helen Franklin Austin and Raymond Donald Austin; her children, Cheyenne, Sema'j, Christopher, Cidneyand, Richard and Samantha; and her siblings, Christal Brabham, Raymond Austin, Jr. and Mallory Connor. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandchildren, extended family members and friends.
