He is survived by: his children, Jeannine Whitehead of Leander, TX and Jason Banwart (Dana) of Yorktown, VA.; his grandchildren, Courtney Whitehead, Christopher Whitehead, Ryan Banwart and Andrew Banwart; his siblings, Linda Rossi (Richard) of Charlevoix and Lewis Banwart (Diane) of Pinckney, Michigan.; his significant other Vera Hall; his significant other's sons, Daniel Smith and Tyler Smith (Leanna) of Newport News, VA.; his granddaughter Tillie Jo Smith; and his close friend Grady.
