He was predeceased by: his son Eric Edwin Howell. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Wenger Howell of Newport News; and his sister Pam "Pansy" Pangborn of Maryland. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Huntington Mennonite Church (785 Harpersville Rd, Newport News, VA 23601). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Eastlawn Memorial Gardens (3289 Spotswood Trail, Harrisonburg, VA 22801).
