It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of April Renee Harris of Newport News, Virginia, who passed away on June 12, 2024, at the age of 42, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jimmy Hyatt and Charlotte Hyatt; and her close friend Ooper Love. She is survived by: her children, Kaleb DaRoja, Abby DaRoja, Kynleigh Marr and Blake Marr; her siblings, Rebecca Johnson (Mark), Amy Lafferty, Linda Huggett (David) and Teddy Hyatt (Brittany); her sister-in-law Katherin Spillman; and her close friend Lavonda Boyd (Haywood Krodel). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made towards her final expenses on the Gofundme campaign.
