She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward T. Gainty and Anne F. Gainty; her husband Col. John P. Gullen Jr.; and her siblings, Thomas J., Edward F. Gainty and Patricia R. Stewart.
She is survived by: her daughters, Elizabeth Gullen of New Haven, CT, Mary McGonigle (Kevin) and Margaret Gullen of Yorktown, VA.; and her grandchildren, Keanan McGonigle of Washington, DC and Kathleen McGonigle (Matthew) of Denver, CO..
Viewing will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church (100 Harpersville Rd, Newport News, VA 23601). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lupus Foundation of America or the Social Ministry Fund at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church.
