She was predeceased by: her spouse Dillard L. Ashworth. She is survived by: her children, Ronnie, Ricky, Joy Ashworth, Cristy Mort (John) and Kevin Ashworth (Brittany); her grandchildren, Doug, Hillary (Tom), Kinley (Kody), Connor, Rileigh, Faith, Elizabeth and Peyton; her great grandchildren, Landon, Logan and Hudson; and her siblings, Frances Lotz, Jean Jordan and Jimmy Bankett (Joyce). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations are made in her name to Orcutt Baptist Church, 653 Baxter Lane, Newport News, VA 23602 In her memory.
