Amy V. Schwarz Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Amy V. Schwarz of Newport News, Virginia, who passed away on January 18, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William F. Volkert and Gladys Spencer Volkert; her husband Gustav G. Schwarz; and her sister Gladys Pye. She is survived by: her daughters, Carol Salber, Ruth Keane (David) and Alma Cole (Rob); her grandchildren, Veronica, Christopher, Joseph, Elizabeth, Melissa, Nicholas and Robert; and her brother-in-law Everett Pye.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the St. Mark Lutheran Church (118 Old York-Hampton Hwy, Yorktown, VA 23692).
