He was predeceased by: his children, Michael Anthony Scott, Randy Scott and Tarnyal Scott; his children-in-law, Ernest Perry and Angela Scott; his parents, Alma Wallace and Fletcher Wallace; and his grandparents, Thomas and Datie Ward.
He is survived by: his wife Clara L. Scott; his children, Cynthia Beckett, Jeanell Hernandez, Angela Perry, Terri Mitchell (Terrance) and Alvin J. Brown (Karen); and his caregiver Katrina Byrd. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, cousins, loving family members, caring friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Cooke Bros. Funeral Chapel (1601 27th St, Newport News, VA 23607). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Carver Memorial Presbyterian Church (830 25th St, Newport News, VA 23607).
