He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Johnson, Sr. and Idell P. Johnson Batten; and his siblings, Mary Louise Diggs, Annie Mae Saunders, Laura McGlone, Gwendolyn Vinson, Linda Holt, Joyce Batten, Sheila Johnson, Angela Smith and Jeffery Batten.
He is survived by: his wife Denise J. Johnson; his children, Albert Lamont Johnson (Alisha), April Johnson and Alesia Johnson Sargent (Earl); his grandchildren, Talaiya Thompson, Corey Thompson, Jayla Sargent, Isaiah Thompson, Joelle Sargent, Sydney Thompson, Jordan Sargent and Zoe Johnson; his brothers, Henry Johnson, Jr. (Jetsie) and Johnny Batten (Joanne); his sister-in-law Marilyn Buggs (Vid); and his close friend Kelvin Grey. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
