It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Noma Minter Walker of New River, Virginia, who passed away on August 18, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Alfonso Walker, Sr.; her parents, Layman Minter and Nannie Minter; her son Lorenzo Walker, Sr.; and her brother Elmore Minter.
She is survived by: her son Alfonso Walker, Jr.; her daughter-in-law Norma; her daughters, Marie Walker, Beverly Walker and Bernice "Freda" Crockett; and her grandchildren, Ronald Walker, Sonya Walker, Carnell Walker, Tonya Walker, Bridget Lester, Dana Austin, Ebonie Walker, Lorenzo Walker, Jr., Dalvyn Walker, Dezeray Walker and Thomas Boyd. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
