He was predeceased by: his parents, James Walker and Isabel Walker; his son Lorenzo Walker; and his siblings, Manford, Oliver, Geraldine, Nettie Mae and Edna Allen.
He is survived by: his wife Noma Minter Walker; his son Alfonso Walker, Jr.; his daughter-in-law Norma; his daughters, Marie Walker, Beverly Walker and Freda Crockett; and his grandchildren, Ebonie Walker, Dezeray Walker, Dalvyn Walker, Ronald Walker, Dana Austin, Carnell Walker, Bridget Lester (Matthew), Thomas Boyd, Sonya Walker, Tonya Walker and Lorenzo Walker, Jr.. He is also survived by 18 great grandchildren; 12 great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
