He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Joseph and Selma Knupp Strickler; and his siblings, Jack, Henry, Ted, Carl Strickler, Roselie Hoover and Elizabeth Vye.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Dove Strickler; his sons, Ronald Strickler (Nicki) of New Market, Michael Strickler, Sr. (Faye) of New Market and Richard Strickler of Timberville; his grandchildren, Heather Strickler (Brad) and Michael Strickler, Jr. (Angela); his great grandchildren, Hunter Michael Strickler and Bodhi Dutton Gordon; his sister Gardenia Cook of Harrisonburg; and his half-sisters, Bonnie and Donna.
