She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Bynaker and Martha Bynaker (Shirkey); her husband Robert G. Lam, Sr.; her son Stevie Lam; and her siblings, Ottie Mae Bowman, Gladys Hottinger, Raymond Bynaker, Carson Bynaker, Isaac Bynaker, Ellis Gene Bynaker and Danny Bynaker.
She is survived by: her children, Connie See (Willie) of Rockingham, Michelle White (Shannon) of Fulks Run, Bobby Lam (Dolly Morris) of Harrisonburg and Eddie Lam of Harrisonburg; and her sisters, Phyllis Hamilton (Merle) of New Market and Betty Sue Fellows of Timberville. She is also survived by Ten grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
