It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norma Jean Murphy of New Market, Virginia, who passed away on September 6, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton Isaac and Margaret Strickler Harpine; her husband Ralph "Pete" Murphy; and her sisters, Ann Sine, Hilda Shirkey, Louise Sine and Celia Miller.
She is survived by: her siblings, Nina Golladay of New Market, Allen "Bud" Harpine of New Market, June Shirkey (Jim) of Timberville and Larry Harpine of Rockingham. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
