He is survived by: his former wife Barbara Gerhart; his stepchildren, Mark Gray, Matthew Gray, Louis Gray, Dawn Hummer and Barbara Jo Mckay; his wife Margaret Ann "Peggy" Carter; his daughter Liane Edlund; his sisters, Jean Shackleford, Jackie Kelliher and Nancy Vessel; his niece Karen Hardcastle; and also Rachel Temple.
