It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Faye Umbarger of New Market, Virginia, born in Harrisonburg, Virginia, who passed away on October 19, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Timothy and Helen Fox Rhinehart of Virginia; and her siblings, Janice Ballard, Jim Rhinehart, Jerry Rhinehart, Donnie Rhinehart and Kenny Rhinehart.
She is survived by: her children, Melinda Long (Jeff) of Harrisonburg, Gina Eaton (Travis) of New Market and Travis Umbarger of New Market; her brother Gary Rhinehart, Sr. (Pee Wee) of New Market; her grandchildren, Tiffany Freeman, Ashley Pence, Austin Corral and Tyler Eaton; and her great grandchild Branch Freeman.
