He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elizabeth Jane Tidler Alger of Lacey Springs and Forrest Duke Alger; his wife Sylvia Lynne Rader; and his children, Amanda Renee Alger, Calvin Gregory Bruce Alger and Trey Christian Rader Alger. He was also cherished by three grandchildren, one step grandson, one step granddaughter, and a granddaughter.
