He was predeceased by: his wife Catherine Mae Walker Lipscomb; and his parents, Willard Lipscomb and Helen Mae Thurston Lipscomb. He is survived by: his daughters, Debra L. Oakley and Brenda L. Ellison (Timothy); his grandchildren, Joshua Martin, Denver Oakley, IV and Erin Ellison; his brother Julian Lipscomb; and his sister-in-law Sapphira Richardson Lipscomb (Ritchie). He is also survived by nephews and their families; and many other relatives and friends.
