He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles H. Evelyn and Lillian F. Evelyn. He is survived by: his wife Emily Clay Stanley Evelyn; his sons, Thomas W. Evelyn (Carrie) and Patrick C. Evelyn (Jessica); his grandchildren, Emily Anne Evelyn-Wallace (Edwin), Caroline Evelyn Belcher (Brandon), Thomas Clayton, Trevor Evelyn, Camden, Laney, Trent, Turner Evelyn, Billy, Emaline, Preston Wallace, Holden and Collins Belcher; and his siblings, Charlotte Ray Woodall and Charles H. Evelyn, Jr.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
