He is survived by: his parents, Kevin Nye and Sandy Nye; his sons, Charlie and Sam; his brothers, Kevin Karl "Max" Nye II (Jamie) and Joseph Cole Nye (Stephanie); his aunts and uncles, Susan, Wayne Lawver, Joe, Pam Counts, Eddie and Michelle Counts; his nephews, Kevin and Easton Nye; his cousins, Alex, Cassidy, Wayne Lawver, Betsey, Patrick, Molly, Will Cremin and Brandt Counts; and his friend David Atkins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Corinth Baptist Church Fix Ministry (11650 New Kent Hwy, New Kent, VA 23124) or to a separate memorial funds established for Charlie and Sam Nye.
