He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Shannon French (Mike) and Patrick George (Taylor); his stepchildren, Carly Daniel (Sterling) and Jason Boone (Missie); his mother Muriel George; his sisters, Wanda Phillips (Jack), Pat Franklin (Joe) and Cindy Hutcherson (Harry); his grandchildren, Kaila (Corey), Gabriel, Haden, Henry and Evie; and his great grandchild Madelyn.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to First Tee Greater Richmond or Make-A-Wish Greater Virginia (his nephew Chad had a wish granted in 1999 to attend the Masters).
