He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady Estes and Ivey Estes of Burlington, NC.; his wife Bonnie Estes; his son Harold Rodney Estes Jr.; his stepdaughters, Sherrie Alcock and Stephanie Czerwik; and his siblings, Bobby Estes, Gene Estes, Betty Simmons and Vicky Walker.
He is survived by: his children, Donnie Estes (Sharon), Cindy Estes (Greg Leehy) and Debora Estes; his stepsons, Forrest Smith and Jimmy Gray; his sister Mildred Price; and his nephew Harold. He is also survived by Many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren.
