It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gunious Evan Brown of New Kent, Virginia, who passed away on June 18, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Brown; his daughters, Jacqueline Jones, Geneva Brown, Susan Brown and Stephanie Brown; his stepsons, Reginald Woodley, Sidney Woodley (Evonne), Marvin Woodley (Angela), Michael Woodley (Martha) and Dennis Woodley; his siblings, Hazel Otey and Al Junior Brown (Adell); and his siblings-in-law, Calvin Jones, Brenda Charity (Donald), Audrey Rucker, Lisa Jones (Hershel), Denise Whitehead, Aubrey Johnson, Jr., Alfred Acree and Edward Wooten. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made in his honor to the American Heart Association.
