She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Crump and Bessie Smith Crump; and her siblings, Lillie Burrell, Aretha Woodson, Robert Crump and Bernard Crump.
She is survived by: her son George L. Whitings; her grandchildren, Sherry James, Shanda Piggott, Martine Joyner (Kyle), Chantony Whiting and Tashia Nixen-Williams (Timothy); and her siblings, Mahalia Crump, Gladys Johnson and Thomas Crump Sr.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives, and friends.
