With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Cecelia Joy Otey (Williamsburg, Virginia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 17, 2024 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Irvin Robinson and Amanda Rose Robinson; and her sisters, Sandra Jones, Francis Robinson and Janet Robinson.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Otey; her siblings, Vinnie Pierce, Shelia Robinson, Rosemary Robinson (Ventson), Mildred Robinson (Alonzo), Linda Washington, Doris Robinson and James Robinson (Thelma); and her close friend Juan. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other loving relatives, and friends.
A reception will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Whiting's Funeral Home (7005 Pocahontas Trail, Williamsburg, VA 23185).
