She was predeceased by: her parents, W. Walter Holmes and Rena W. Holmes; her sister Willa Des Marais; and her children, Elizabeth Ann and Thomas Hartley Stone III.
She is survived by: her children, Michael H. Stone (Jean) of Wichita, Kansas, Kathy (Thomas J. Hunt) of New Kent and Rena (Kenneth L. Aherron) of Midlothian, Virginia; her grandsons, Joseph, Stephen Stone, Ryan Hunt and Zachary Aherron; and her sister-in-law Pat (Bill Groome) of Virginia. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
