She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Burton and Louise Burton; her brother Jack Burton; and her daughter Marie Antionette Philbates. She is survived by: her husband Floyd M. Philbates; her children, Christine Adams (Phil) and Floyd Manley Philbates, Jr. (Sissy Pruitt); her siblings, Buck Burton (Judy), Thelma Sheppard (Don), Martha Bivins, Ann Carter (Daulton), John Burton (Margie) and Mike Burton (Pam); her grandchildren, Amie Spencer (Sean), Bradford Adams (Ashley), Rebecca Hubbard, Mary Hubbard and Amanda McClure (Camoron); and her great grandchildren, Natalie, Ian, Graham Spencer, Logan, Caiden Adams, Mackenzie Hubbard, Malique Jackson, Jeremayah Petterson, Chance Chandler, Savannah and Calvin McClure. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
