He is survived by: his wife Christine Bowles Maxey; his daughter Ann-Elyse; his son-in-law Christopher Blomberg; his grandsons, Aaron (Stefanie Blomberg) and Adam (Terri Blomberg); his great grandchild Finn Blomberg; and his siblings, Beatrice (Charles Reynolds), Sue Preston, Judy Maxey, Algernon Maxey (Margaret Vest) and Johnny Maxey. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
