He was predeceased by: his father Thomas H. Palmer, Sr.; and his brother John Palmer. He is survived by: his wife Darcie Reckling Palmer of New Castle; his son Shane Palmer of Burke, VA; his mother Beverly Crawford Palmer of New Castle; his brother Thomas H. Jr.; his sister-in-law Sheila Palmer; his uncle Dick; and his aunt Rose Mason of Cummings, GA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
