She was predeceased by: her parents, Jake Woodson and Sarah Booker Woodson; her siblings, Edith, Thelma, Clementine, Eloise, Jake, Jr., Lucious, Emmett, Arthur and George; and her daughters, Shirley Cooper Best and JoAnna Cooper.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Cooper; and her children, Jake (Ovetis), Gordon (Brenda), Sarah (Kevin) and Deacon Robert, Jr. (Shirley). She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild who is due any day now; aunts, two sisters-in-law, a bevy of nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
