She was predeceased by: her husband John Bateman, Sr.. She is survived by: her sons, John Bateman, Jr. (Pamela) of New Market and Samuel Bateman of New Canton. She is also survived by five Grandchildren and six Great Grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the Family wishes that donations be made to The Hospice of the Piedmont in Charlottesville or Centra Hospice in Farmville.
