It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gladys Comer Williamson (Nelson, Virginia), born in Halifax, Virginia, who passed away on March 14, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Robert Comer and Mary Elizabeth Zimmerman; her husband Ray Williamson; her brothers, Eugene Comer and Lewis Comer; and her grandson Jonathan Williamson.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Duckworth (Merk) of Nelson, Glen Williamson (Barbara) of Vernon Hill and Scottie Williamson (Sandy) of Nelson; and her siblings, Joyce Morris of South Boston, Tommy Comer (Judy) of South Boston, Roger Comer (Edna) of Chase City, Bobby Comer (Dorothy) of South Boston and Lloyd Comer of Roxboro, NC. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
