He was predeceased by: his siblings, Marian Ragland and Gene; and his nephew Michael Ragland. He is survived by: his wife Betty Carroll Snead; his sons, Brennan Edward of Lake Monticello and Brant Erik (Jan) of Midlothian; his grandsons, Matthew Lawson and Wyatt Benjamin; his sister Shirley Krohn; and his siblings-in-law, Waverley Ragland and Agnes Snead.
