He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Elliott and Annie Bray Elliott; his siblings, Garland Elliott (Ruth), Lucille Puryear (Lawrence), Julius Elliott (Sarah), Otis Elliott, Robert Elliott, James Elliott and Gail Wade (Frank); and his brother-in-law Hunter Forlines.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Newton Elliott; his son Carl Elliott (Janet) of Bullock; his siblings, Dorothy "Peg" Forlines, Elvin Elliott (Uzelia), Ralph Elliott (Marie) and Owen Elliott (Shirley); and his sister-in-law Jean Elliott.
