She was predeceased by: her daughter Cynthia Hagood Hankley; her grandson David Hagood Jr.; her sister Cecilia Anderson; her parents, Cecil Matthews and Anne; and also Ligon Clark.

She is survived by: her brother John Matthews (Phyllis); her children, Susan O'Hanlan (Tom), Beth Ann Judy (Jay) and Charles Dull (Linda); her grandchildren, Jonathan Sloan (Rachel), Ben O'Hanlan (Joy), Mary Fisher, Sarah Beasley (Ryan), Brandon Maddox (Channing), Rachel Lyons (Todd), Jacob Hagood, Tim Hagood and Jillian Cowherd (Eric); and her great grandchildren, Nathan, Brooks, Marleigh, Cecilia, Lilly, Beau, Natalie, Abby, Bailey, Hank, Waylon, Finleigh and Charlotte.
