With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Edward Dodson of Nathalie, Virginia, born in Halifax, Virginia, who passed away on July 14, 2022 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth Williamson Dodson; his parents, Harry Dodson and Nolie Hall Dodson; his daughter Debbie D. Lloyd; and his sisters, Alease Clay, Geraldine Daniel, Clara Clay and Jewel Saunders.
He is survived by: his daughter Diane D. Saunders (David) of Halifax; his son-in-law Ricky Lloyd of Nathalie; his grandchildren, April Fallen (Mike), Henry Carter, III and Leslie Bray; his great grandchildren, Dillon, Magdalyn, Brianna, Tanner, Kaylynn, Alex, Nicholas, Nevan, Thomas and Payden; and his sister Florris Reid. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
