He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Guthrie and Daisy Cothran Guthrie; his wife Frances Powell Guthrie; and his siblings, Hubert Guthrie, Beatrice Davis, Durelle Guthrie, William Guthrie and Charlie Guthrie.
He is survived by: his children, Lee Anne Guthrie Newson of South Boston and Stuart Wilson Guthrie of Nathalie. He is also survived by Nieces and Nephews, Extended family.
