He was predeceased by: his parents, Sy Berry Waller and Georgia Eanes Waller; his brothers, Lee Waller, Clyde Waller, Jesse Waller and Douglas Waller; and his grandson David Waller, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Carol Hamlet Waller; his sons, David G. Waller (Laurie) of Chatham, Timothy O. Waller (Cheryl) of Gretna, Michael A. Waller (Deborah) of Mt. Pleasant, NC, Gary L. Waller of Halifax and Barry W. Waller (Melissa) of Gretna; and his siblings-in-law, Dorothy Hamlet of Appomattox, Betty Hamlet of Lynchburg and Melvin Hamlet of Amherst. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren.
