He was predeceased by: his parents, Clemon Forest, Sr. and Bernice Dennis Forest; his siblings, Clemon Forest Jr. and Judith Brooks; his mother-in-law Alice Boyd; and his sister-in-law Rachael Pannell.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah (Jane); his children, Gwendolynn Sharpe (John), Samantha Mercado (Mark) of Locust Grove, VA, Victoria Forest of Lynchburg, VA, Ivy Forest and Eaun Forest; his grandchildren, Matthew Mercado, Micah Mercado and McKenzie Mercado; his brothers, David Forest (Arnethia) of Lynchburg, VA and Marvin Forest of Dayton, OH; his niece Jocelyn Forest of Nathalie, VA; and his friend Pricilla Clements of Lynchburg, VA. He is also survived by in-laws, including seven sisters-in-law and five brothers-in-law.
Viewing was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Jeffress Funeral Home and Cremation Service (304 Lusardi Dr, Brookneal, VA 24528). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Christian Tabernacle Baptist Church (1055 Stage Coach Rd, Nathalie, VA 24577). A burial was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at the Christian Tabernacle Baptist Church Cemetery (1055 Stage Coach Rd, Nathalie, VA 24577).
