It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Irving Patterson of Nathalie, Virginia, who passed away on May 30, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Dudley Patterson and Myrtle Collins Patterson; his daughter Maryellen DiBrango; and his siblings, Betty Hoyer, Herbert, Edward and Dan Patterson.
He is survived by: his spouse Rhodamary Watkins Patterson; his children, James Alvin Patterson of Laceyville, PA., Richard Scott Patterson (Beverly) of Nathalie and Justina Anne Patterson of North Carolina; and his brother Joe Patterson (Carol) of St. Johnville, N. Y.. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 20 Great-grandchildren.
