He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Roark and Ella Coates Roark. He is survived by: his wife Jane Austin Roark; his daughters, Beth Roark Elder (John Wesley) of Nathalie and Kim Roark Martin (Daryl) of Nathalie; his grandsons, Matthew Elder (Dana) of Brookneal and Hunter Martin of South Boston; and his great grandchildren, Colin and Liza Jane Elder.
