She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Everett Arthur, Sr. and Lucy Pauline Chaney Arthur; her son-in-law Terry Weiss; and her siblings, Annie Crews, Edith Anderson and Floyd E. Arthur, Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Beverly Weiss of Nathalie, VA, Pamela Griffin (Clarence) of Clinton, NC and Earl Thomas Martin, Jr. (Janet) of Stephens City, VA; her granddaughters, Debbie Freeman (David) of Ashburn, VA and Amanda Thompson (Chris) of Stephens City, VA.; her sister Kitty Dawson of Alton; and her great grandchildren, Canaan Thompson, Jordan Thompson, Ryan Freeman and Brooke Freeman.
