He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edward Davis and Sarah Hester Winston Davis; and his brother-in-law James Wright. He is survived by: his wife Janice Wright Davis; his daughters, Beth Brumfield (Troy) of Brookneal and Tammy Jennings (Scottie) of Nathalie; his brother Harry Davis of Scottsville; and his sister-in-law Lynette Wright of Daleville, VA. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the Jeffress Funeral Home and Cremation Service (304 Lusardi Dr, Brookneal, VA 24528). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (4210 Leda Grove Rd, Nathalie, VA 24577).
