It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmy Lacy Martin of Nathalie, Virginia, born in Halifax, Virginia, who passed away on August 10, 2023, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Lacy Martin and Mattie Lean Powell; and his siblings, David Martin, Dorothy Martin, Deborah "Josie" Wooldridge, Ricky Martin and Chris Martin.
He is survived by: his fiancée Deborah Peade of Nathalie, One; his son Eric Comer of Scottsburg; his stepdaughter Holly Saunders (Bruce); his grandchildren, Jacob Comer, Granger and Palmer Saunders; his siblings, Linda King of Nathalie, Joyce Guthrie (Jack) of Nathalie and Willie Martin of South Boston; and his pet Bella.
