She was predeceased by: her parents, John Pope and Leatrice Hightower Pope; and her brothers, William Henry Polk, Lynwood, Nathaniel and John Lester Pope.
She is survived by: her husband William R. Luck of Nathalie, Virginia; her children, Marvin L. Lipford (Angelina) of Hampton, Virginia, Janice Hairston (John) of Danville and Gwendolyn Lipford-Strutchen (Malcolm) of Suffolk, Virginia; her grandchildren, Jasmine C., Marvin Lee, Jr. (Jasmine), Nehemiah Lipford, John "Trey" III, Jaylen Hairston and Malcolm-Arturo Strutchen; her great grandchildren, Camden Hairston, Javeon Strutchen, Marvin "Tre" Lipford III and Jim'Mir Darby; her siblings, Rev. Edward Pope (Pearl) of Hurt, Joseph Polk (Sharon) of Bowie, Maryland and Barbara Jones of Midlothian, Virginia; her niece Shantae Polk of Durham; her cousin Hazel Coleman of Keeling, Virginia; and her siblings-in-law, Barbara Graham, Vinette Elam (Craig), Virginia Dixon (Henry), Cleo Lipford, Patricia S. Pope, Harold (Willie Catherine), Slade Jr., Ernest (Geraldine), Louis Luck (Madella), Ricky Luck and Raleigh Lipford (Yvonne). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
