With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gracie Louise Hubbard of Nathalie, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 10, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Henry Hubbard and Ruth Walker Hubbard; her son Rodney Hubbard; and her brothers, Stuart Hubbard, Larry Hubbard and Paul Hubbard, Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Cindy Hubbard, Sandy Hubbard, Tonchent Hubbard, Donald, Ronald Williams and Sonya Whitler; her grandchildren, Corlis, Camille, Mountour, Travis, Carlos, Megan, Takeya, Derek, Tytiana, Christian, Rodney Lamar, Rodshae, Chenequa, Azzareya, Milan and Tonchent, Jr.; her daughter-in-law Sharon Hubbard; her siblings, James Hubbard, Robert Hubbard (Paula), Brenda Hubbard and Gloria Howard (Gary); her sisters-in-law, Agnes Hubbard, Diane Hubbard, Rose Davis and Roberta Harris; her nieces and nephews, Melissa Boyd (Chris), Reggie Hubbard, Aundrey Hubbard, Sharron Braxton (Sonya), Erica King (Nevin), Meyonka Hubbard, Mynerica Howard, Patrice Johnson and Demond Hubbard; and her cousin Vera Sparrow. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.

Viewing was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Jeffress Funeral Home and Cremation Service (304 Lusardi Dr, Brookneal, VA 24528). Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Green Spring Baptist Church (103 Green Spring Ln, Brookneal, VA 24528). A burial was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at the Green Spring Baptist Church Cemetery (103 Green Spring Ln, Brookneal, VA 24528).
