He was predeceased by: his wife Janet Davis Evans; his parents, Edker Thomas Evans, Sr. and Rubye Bernhardt Evans; and his brother Vic Evans. He is survived by: his children, Victor R. Evans of Alexandria, Kenny Evans of Maryland, Jimmy Evans and Wendy Van Noordt (Glenn) of Maryland; and his stepdaughters, Jean Marie Skeen (Bobby) of Manassas and Amanda Jo Adams (Joe) of Brandy Station. He is also survived by Nine grandchildren.
