He was predeceased by: his siblings, Matt "Buster", Mattie Logan Coleman, Thomas Charles Coleman, Johnny Coleman, William Arthur Coleman "Grant", Cornelia Callands and Edna Terry.

He is survived by: his wife Sallie Ann Coleman; and his grandchildren, William (Coleman), Noura (Mika Anne), Phylicia (Michelle), Christopher (Ron) and Jeffrey (Dallas III). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
